On September 23rd and 24th, 2014 Chinese College Exhibition and China-Austria/ China-Hungary Higher Education Cooperation and Exchange Meeting was hold in Vienna and Budapest respectively. Accompanied by Xie Jinling, director of International Office, President Qin, on behalf of QTC, along with China's Higher Education delegation, participated in the two activities and obtained good results. Organized by China Education Association for International Exchange(CEAIE), 49 representatives from 23 colleges(including 17 regular colleges and 6 vocational colleges)formed China's Higher Education delegation. The meeting was greatly supported by Education Department of China Embassy in Austria, in Hungary and local official education organizations.
Representatives visited Vienna MODUL Tourism and Management College, which is a college with hundred-year-old history. It was founded in 1908 and is the second oldest college in the world. This private higher vocational educational college is owned and administrated by Vienna chamber of commerce and provides tourism and management programs. President Werner Schnabl and staffs from their International Office gave the delegation a warm reception, introduced the college, lead the delegation to visit the school facilities and investigated classroom teaching. QTC group grasped opportunity to introduce international cooperation and exchange situation of QTC and talked with MODUL to carry out programs in tourism and management major. President Schnabl had great interests in the cooperation and reached intention with QTC.
