College-running Feature Communicating, International Cooperation Exploring

QTC delegation had symposium hosted byZongWa, Deputy Secretary of CEAIE, with American Community Colleges on April 8th. Mr. Fang Maotian from Chinese Embassy in US delivered welcome address and Mr. Shao Wei, Secretary General of CEAIE, addressed on evening banquet.

Representatives from 7 American Community Colleges respectively introduced their college features and cooperation intentions. Mr. Liu Wei introduced QTC ideology and invited NOVA representative Dr. Paul to visit QTC at his convenience to talk more about the cooperation.

The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) is the primary advocacy organization for the nation’s community colleges, representing nearly 1200 two-year, associate degree-granting institutions and more than 11 million students. Founded in 1920, AACC is a nonprofit association. AACC is governed by a 32-member board of directors, elected for 3-year staggered terms. Twenty-six members are elected by the CEOs of AACC member institutions.
