A trilateral agreement was signed April 24 by QTC, Qingdao Shibei District Government and Oracle (China) Software System Co., Ltd. to collaboratively construct Oracle (Qingdao) Training Base, ensuring the city's development in its software training, service outsourcing investment, and practical talents and intelligence support.

Qingdao Vice Mayor Mr. Liu Mingjun, Shibei Government Party Secretary Hui Xin'an, QTC Secretary Liu Pengzhao, and Oracle Vice CEO Robert Green respectively spoke on the ceremony, stressing highly the significance of the project to be constructed.

As planned, the training base, employing the most advanced technology of cloud computing, endeavors to build up a cloud education platform for the higher institutions and enterprises in Qingdao and its neighboring areas. In the meantime, some relevant training resources will be laid out on the platform, and in this way, the colleges, universities and enterprises it covers can benefit from its excellent resources and settings. The training base is to build 12 training rooms accommodating 560 persons for training in one go and estimated to reach 3,000 yearly.
