QTC President Qin Chuan, with the city's commercial visiting group, finishes all his activities in west Asian countries United Arab Emirates and Jordan, and came back March 24. During the 8-day journey, President Qin, with his members, conducted a series of visiting activities.

On March 18, the Qingdao group paid their visit to Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, where its international director Mr. Al Refaei received the group and talked with them in terms of the two cities information concering culture, economy and trade. During the communication with Mr. Al Refaei, President Qin introduced QTC's Chinese language teaching to foreign students and hoped to contribute the colllege's effort to the two countries' communication through the chamber of commerce. On the same day, the group also visited economic and commercial section of the consulate general of China and Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation in Dubai.

The visiting group's 2nd stop was to see the 5 QTC students who are receiving their practical training in Fairmont Hotel in Dubai. During the meet with the students, Mr. Zhang Jun from Qingdao Government, after learning about their working and life there, gave his wishes to them, and thought highly of QTC's practice in training its students overseas. President Qin, on behalf of QTC, encouraged them to overcome the difficulties facing them and tried their best to grasp every opportunity to learn. The training students greatly appreciated the college's care.

On March 21, the group visited Amman Chamber of Commerce, where its Chairman Mr. Riad Saifi, with the country's over 20 enterprises received the group. President Qin, on behalf of QTC, introduced to the chairman what QTC has achieved in the college's international cooperation and exchanges and also the intention to build partnership with Jordan institutes for further cooperation. After the talk, Qin also had an in-depth talk with two of his fellows specializing in international economic cooperation, and all agreed to join hands with each other to develop their overseas business and cooperation. They also signed a framework agreement focusing on what they have reached.
