QTC President Qin Chuan, as a member of a Qingdao government organized visiting group, heads to United Arab Emirates and Jordan March 17th for a 8 day business trip. Togetehr with him are also some reps of the city's renowned enterprises.

After arriving in Abu Dhabi, the capital of UAE, the group held a meeting, studying some important guiding lines put forward by the city's Secretary Mr. Li Qun, who laid stress on enhancing cooperation with west Asian countries. During the meeting, Qin, on behalf of QTC, reported what QTC has achieved in the past years in terms of its international cooperation, including students overseas study, practical training and employment, teachers' overseas training and teaching etc, and said the college would continue to take further measures to enlarge its international cooperation and exchanges. Afterwards, the visiting group also went to visit the commerce counselor's office of China's Embassy to UAE, where Counselor He Song warmly received them and gave them his own suggestions for the visiting group.
