The 2nd KAKE Cup National Japanese Speaking Skills Contest was held at QTC from October 17 to 19.

Sponsored by MOE language teaching guidance committee and organized by QTC, the contest was attended by over 160 contestants from the nation's 40 vocational colleges. Leaders of MOE language teaching guidance committee, CEAIE and reps of sponsor company presented the opening ceremony held at QTC.

After 3 days of competition, the individual and the group contestants not only showed their language skills, but demonstrated their professional qualities as well. QTC, for a second time, toped all their counterparts either in the individual speaking skills or in the group cooperative performance.

To organize the national contest for the second time, QTC's School of Tourism and International Cooperation contributed its great efforts, with nearly 40 of its teachers and 70 of its student volunteers getting involved.
