QTC held a series of activities to observe the nation's 28th Teacher's Day, which falls on September 10 every year.

On the morning of the day, Secretary Liu Pengzhao and President Qin Chuan welcomed their staff going to work at the college's south gate, shaking hands and presenting flower to show their congratulations and regards. They also went to the teaching sites and the offices to show their cares for both the college's full time and part time teachers.

In the afternoon, the college specially convened a meeting to celebrate the day. After awarding the excellent teaching teams and prestige teachers, Secretary Liu Pengzhao made an important speech.

Firstly, he conveyed his regards and congratulation again to all the college's teachers, including the ones who have retired. He then, emphasized the significance of the college's putting teaching as its priority work and the importance to build a strong teaching team. And he also said that the college would encourage its teachers to receive more overseas training and education, and for a further sound development, he also explained the college's new teaching and training requirements and standards.

Before the day came on September 6, QTC leaders also held a talk with the college's prestige and young teachers, celebrating the national day and discussing how to further enhance the college teaching work. (By Li Chengji)
