August 12, President Qin Chuan met Professor Ma Shugen from Ritsumeikan University, Japan. They talked about in detail the expected exchanges of students, teachers as well as academia and culture between QTC and Ritsumeikan. Professor Ma also introduced Japanese vocational education and the country's industrial robots.

Founded in 1900,Ritsumeikan Universityis one of four biggest private universities in Japan and has established relationship with 53 colleges and universities in China. Currently, over 800 Chinese students study in Ritsumeikan University. (By Li Chengji)
