QTC, in the past July, welcomed one of its greatest season of 2012: Graduation, with another 2817 qualified graduates of both high quality and morality finishing their study career in the college and went on with a new life stage.

As its usual practice, QTC put great attention on the farewell ceremonies, including both the grand graduation ceremony for each school and some special activities marking the special moments.

On July 26, a graduation concert themed with graduation was held by the graduates of School of Education. President Qin Chuan also joined in their celebration by leading a small orchestra with the traditional Chinese instrument Erhu. The five pieces of music with different themes, specially chosen by President Qin himself, conveyed the president's different sentiments to his students: departing sadness, friendship, hopes and wishes, promise and future happiness.

Besides the grand ceremonies held by each School, on which President Qin personally awarded the diploma and gave his wishes to each student, the college also specially held a ceremony to unveil the strip stone in the south gate ground engraved with the number of the year's graduates. The embedded strip stones in the ground are designed to show the numbers of the newly admitted and graduated students of each year.

To express their appreciation, the 2012 graduates gave away a huge viewing stone to the college on July 2. Lying at the northeast corner of the college facing the most rural part of the area, "the stone will stand there to witness the college's continuous development".

QTC lays great importance on its students' employment, and after years of effort, 95% of its 2817 graduates have got the opportunity to begin their new working or studying life. (By Li Chengji)
