To further enhance its teaching, training and management, and boost its campus culture and scientific research, President Qin Chuan put forward, during one of his inspection on campus, opening labor class encouraging all students and staff to join in improving the campus surroundings by contributing their efforts regularly.

In spirit of this, The School of Haier made its own practical labor plan, with every Thursday afternoon as a fixed period for the class, also requiring all the 2011 Year students to participate and each of its teachers guiding the students clean and tidy up their dorms.

On May 24, QTC leaders Secretary Liu Pengzhao, President Qin Chuan attended one of the labor classes at Haier School, cleaning the toilets in the building together with the school's teachers and students. They also went to the student dorms to inspect their living situations and also proposed for further improvement.
