Presided by VP Xue Yuping, a seminar on Practical and Training Base was held on May 7. VP Xing Guanglu and some department administrators presented the seminar.

The core issue discussed on the seminar was the Practical and Training Base construction project of 2012. It was agreed that the construction of the practical and training conditions was an important component of programs construction, which should meet the needs of teaching, scientific research and training. Furthermore, the teaching conditions should be improved to provide comfortable studying and working environments for students and teachers. The seminar also required that the specialty construction planning should be revised and implemented by stages.

The construction of Practical and Training Base should attach importance to the utilization rate and the efficiency. Practical and training Bases to be shared on campus and open to the society should be jointly constructed both by enterprises and QTC.
