President Dr. Shi Zhongjian was invited to talk at the Sino-Egypt University's Presidents Forum held in Cairo, Egypt on April 22.

In his speech titledHow to Assure the Education Quality for HVE Colleges, Dr. Shi emphasized higher vocational education should guarantee its quality from the aspects of educatonal concepts, mode, curriculum and textbooks optimization, practical training and social evaluation etc.

Over 100 representatives from more than 40 universities or colleges of the two countries participated in the forum hosted by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and Egypt's National Authority Quality Assurance & Accreditation of Education. Some high rank officials from both countries including Song Aiguo, China's Ambassador to Egypt attended the opening ceremony.

Aimed to enhance the cultural exchanges and educational cooperation between the two countries, the forum focused on education quality assurance and cooperation, providing a platform for the two countries to conduct cooperative scientific research and education.

After the forum on April 23, more than 30 Chinese universities and colleges held an exhibition in Suez Canal University, showcasing the achievements of Chinese education in recent years and attracting more Egyptian students to study in China.
