QTC officially became a KAB (short for Know about Business) base, as announced in its entrepreneurship themed annual meeting held in China's east Zhejiang province.
The KAB entrepreneurial education project is an entrepreneurial education curriculum system developed by the International Labor Organization aiming to cultivate the awareness and improve the capability of starting up business for college or pre-college students. Currently, the scale and influence of KAB projects increase widely in China, with more than 1,000 member colleges or universities.
To qualify for the base, QTC sent five of its teachers to receive the training organized KAB, and opened relevant designed courses for two consecutive semesters. After its continuous follow up assessment, the college finally became one of its educating bases.
