March 20, a photograph show titledColorful Campus, The Days with Ferriesby Ding Hongxia opened at QTC, beginning the college's art show every two months in the year.

The Opening Ceremony

Guests from photograph associations of different levels and the local government, QTC's artistic professors, some local mass media as well the college's teachers and students attended the opening ceremony.

Mr. Qian Han

It's significant for Ding to record the things happening around with photos, which would mark the special times, commented Qian Han, Vice Chairman of China News Photograph Association and Training Inspector of Dazhong Newspaper Group.

Mr. Han Jiajun

Mr. Han Jiajun from the local cultural and physical education center said QTC successively opened its resources to the local communities and had greatly benefited the residents. He especially mentioned the college's opening libraries, free films in the lecture hall, and the technical museum.

Vice President Kong Xiansi

QTC's Vice President Kong Xiansi acknowledged the presenting guests and introduced the significance of the show: to actively promote the prosperity of culture both for the college but more important for the local communities.

The bi-monthly art show will focus on the fine works, photos, calligraphies, and designs by both the college students and the local citizens.
