QTC held its second college affairs meeting of the year at the West Campus on On March 14th.

Themed with opportunity and demonstration, seven deans and two directors of the departments of Training & Teaching and Students' Affairs respectively reported their work of the justly past winter semester and the key works to be conducted in this spring semester.

President Dr. Shi Zhongjian, in his final talk, positively valued the meeting, and summarized it with good preparation, good reporting, and good commenting. He pointed out that the seven schools each have their own advantages, which would further enrich the college's features. He also briefed the schools' achievements as well as the opportunities faced, involvingHS's self maintenance of their large facilities,SSSO's undertaking of 4 training programs at national levels,SL's further boosting and consolidating the cooperation with industries,STIC's 4 innovative developing guidelines,SBCE's focus on the significant Blue Economy program,SE's pre-caution and 3-minute earlier system,AS's wide potential cooperation, and the two departments' meaningful statistics in their reports.

He put out that the college, in this year, would further stick to its educational concepts, enrich the teaching and training modes, apply to the high standards and set up new styles of working, on the basis of which the college should strongly advance five key works: daily teaching and training, preparation of the college's braches, service outsourcing training center construction, college's advance program, and the postdoctoral workstation construction & postgraduate education. The college is aimed to set up a modern system and mechanism to basically meet its faculty's values, he said.
