In recent years, QTC greatly lays efforts on its cultural and moral construction both for its staff and students, which has resulted in the college's close connection with its surrounding communities. Besides its teachers' effortless teaching and caring of the students, the college also both calls for its students to compulsorily contribute their services, and and opens its resources to the communities. Up to now, QTC has voluntarily contributed 40,000 teaching hours and set up 180 enterprise or community based practical training centers.
