QTC Attends CCID Annual Meeting

QTC's Vice President Qin Chuan, a member of CEAIE's visiting group to USA for China's overseas training for its vocational education, attended the 36th annual conference of Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA from February 25 to 27.

More than 350 representatives from 29 countries attended the conference themed with "Currents of Change".

On the first day, the conference held a special session for the Chinese group, involving project introduction, experience sharing, cooperative intentions etc. On 27th, the group visited Delgado Community College, observing the activities in its cooking workshop, kindergarten, ophthalmology lab, car training workshop and language training center. On the luncheon hosted by AACC, a completion certificates awarding ceremony was also held, with Carol issuing the completion certificates to the Chinese trainees.

After the conference on 28th, the group visited the New York based McGraw-Hill Companies, a leading global financial information and education company. During the discussion, VP Qin also briefly introduced QTC's international cooperation in recent years, and put forward his suggestions for the future cooperation.
