On December 28th, QTC held a special forum to honor its staff who have been working for it for a decade.
Ten years ago in 2001, a hundred teachers began their work at QTC, and ten years afterwards, the then newly graduates or employed teachers have contributed greatly to the college's development: from a common one to be a nationally recognized institution.

Dr. Shi and His Champagne
To honor this, the college specially held a forum to overview what they have gone through and gloriously achieved in the ten years. 41 of the 100 staff, including President Dr. Shi Zhongjian who began his presidency in April of 2001, attended the forum themed withA Decade for Us.

Cheeers
In form of a buffet, the forum begins with the opening of a bottle of specially prepared French Champagne, produced in 2001 and carefully preserved by Dr. Shi Zhongjian. Enjoying the wonderful champagne of the same 10 years with them, the attendants shared what they had harvested during the college’s fast development in the past decade, and expressed their heartfelt gratitude and sense of pride for the college they are working for.
President Dr. Shi also overviewed his own experiences and feelings in his presidency, and pointed out the common interests and targets had made them build up a sibling friendship. “All of our efforts are for a brighter glory of tomorrow” he said.
QTC came to its name in 1999, and gained its fast development since the year of 2001 when a large batch of teachers joined its construction. To this day, the national exemplary college has 759 staff and over 10 thousand full-time vocational and continuing education students.
