With a purpose of enhancing its young teaching faculties, QTC, cooperating with Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), organized a two-week training class focusing on teaching competence promotion in Hong Kong from November 7th – 18th.

Arriving in Hong Kong on Nov. 17th in the evening, President Dr. Shi Zhongjian came to see the trainees and expressed his regards to all of them. On the closing ceremony held on Nov. 18th, he positively appraised the trainees' learning vigor and achievements, and also gave his acknowledgement to HKPU, the host, for its elaborate organizing. He pointed out, in the years past, QTC made some achievements in its development, yet compared with the renowned universities, it still had a long way to go, and he also asked his teachers to broaden their visions and aim at bigger developments.

15 HKPU specialists, centering on teaching competence promotion, had devotedly trained QTC young teachers from a global vision in various forms during the two-weeks' traning.
