On October 27, QTC held a special seminar on its talents-cultivating modeReal World Interaction, reviewing the academic accomplishments and contributions of its latest retired professor Cao Yonghui.

Prof. Cao, once the Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee, has made her great effort in the college’s construction, and her bookTeaching and Learning by Coupling with the Communitieshas played a significance role in the formation of QTC’s current education mode.

During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Shi Zhongjian, who had proposed reviewing and honoring the college’s retired staff via a special seminar, thought highly of Prof. Cao in terms of her dedication and high degree of morality, and called on to respect and learn from her.

Prof. Cao, in his talk, appreciated the special seminar for her, and expressed it was great meaningful to review what she had done for the college of her same age, and what she had accomplished was what she had to fulfill. She was also quite sure, with the care and support of the college, the retirement life would be better.

Some college leaders, academic committee members, reps of administrative departments and teaching faculties also attended the seminar.
