QTC is to grandly celebrate its 60th anniversary on October, 17th, 2011. During the just past 7-day National Day holiday, the anniversary working staff had spared no time for a temporary rest. Headed by Vice President Kong Xiansi, the team had enhanced the overall preparation work in terms of college development exhibition, alumni contacts, publicity video making, and donating affairs etc, to ensure everything had got ready for the celebration.

On October 8th, the first work day after the holiday, President Shi Zhongjian, with the company of vice college leaders and department directors, inspected the campus setting improvement work in terms of hygienic conditions as well as college culture.

During the inspection, President Shi pointed out conscientiousness, creativity and devotion should be fully given to even the most detailed things, as shown in Sunshine Corner of Arts School, logos design of School of Software & Service Outsourcing, and on-campus training centers of School of Tourism and International Cooperation. He also gave his suggestions on the utilization of corridors and the design of information board. Supplementary to the culture building, rationally integrating college philosophies into every possible space in the college, like stereoscopic sculpture or vegetables growing, could mean much in enlightening students and teachers’ different perspectives on our world, he further noted.
