July 9th has witnessed a 100 days countdown ceremony of the 60th anniversary of QTC. In its West Campus, Henk Frencken, Education Consultant of ICLON of Leiden University, Ms. Wang Bingyan, its overseas Research Fellow, the industry reps, QTC leaders, instructors and students attended the celebration.
In the ceremony, the countdown plaque was unveiled collaboratively by President Dr. Shi Zhongjian, VP Prof. Qin Chuan, overseas specialist, and reps of industry, instructors, and students.

Unveiling Ceremony
In his congratulatory speech, Henk Frencken, the Holland education specialist, mentioned, in terms of cooperation with industry and international exchange, QTC achieved a series of progressive achievements since his first meet with Dr. Shi Zhongjian ten years ago, and QTC and Leiden University had also conducted cooperation and exchange at different levels. He also said QTC deserved its honor of a national exemplary vocational college in the practice of both developing itself and assisting its counterparts in China.

President Shi Zhongjian, in his speech, showed his appreciation to the working team, the alumni, as well as all the persons participating in organizing the anniversary. He said, greatly cared and supported by the local governments, industry partners and all walks of the society, the joyfulness of the anniversary celebration would not only be limited to its 12,000 teachers and students on campus, but enjoyed by all the people ever associated with the college, whose support and care had contributed to what QTC is today. And it was hoped that the anniversary celebration could summon up all QTC in valuing and appreciating all walks of the society who had been caring and supporting us.

In the ceremony, a photograph and painting & calligraphy exhibition themed Jiazi( or sixty years) Celebration and International Exchange was also held.
