Qingdao Technical College held a grand opening ceremony for its Alumni Association at its main campus on May 29, and over 120 alumni reps participated in the unveiling ceremony.

This October will be the 60th anniversary of QTC, and the past 60 years have witnessed a great role the college has played in contributing to the local economic and social development by educating a great batch of qualified graduates of all levels. With 4 overseas alumni associations in France, Singapore, Korea and Japan, QTC alumni association will function as a communicative platform for the alumni and the college.

Professor Dr. Shi Zhongjian, President of QTC, stressed on the ceremony notwithstanding the great changes of its location and buildings, the college will be home to all its graduates for ever. The joint effort of all graduates has contributed to the rapid development of the college in the past years, which the college will never forget. He, on behalf of the college, also expressed his congratulation and hope.

On the ceremony, the regulations and council of the alumni association were also decided.
