Attendants unveiled the plaque for the training base

The launching ceremony of the Sino-New Zealand Vocational Education Model Programme Teacher Training Base was held in Qingdao Technical College on November 26th. Ms. Adele Bryant, Counsellor of New Zealand Embassy in ChinaMr. LIU Baomin, Deputy Director of Central Institute for Vocational and Technical Education, Ms. LIU Yufeng, Director of Division for International Cooperation and Comparative Education Research in Central Institute for Vocational and Technical Education, Mr. YI Guan, Investigator of Qingdao Education Bureau, Mr. David Christiansen, Acting CEO of Waikato Institute of Technology, Mr. WANG Jinsheng, General Secretary of the Party Committee of Qingdao Technical College, Mr. QIN Chuan, President of Qingdao Technical College, Mr. HU Ruxiang, Vice President of Tianjin Light Industry Vocational Technical College unveiled the plaque for the training base. Representatives of Tianjin Light Industry Vocational Technical College, Jinhua Polytechnic and Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute, and Qingdao Technical College attended the ceremony.

Mr. WANG Jinsheng, Mr. David Christianse, Mr. LIU Baomin, and Ms. Adele Bryant delivered speeches. Mr. David Christianse and Ms. Adele Bryant made a pleasant review of the development process and achievements of international exchange and cooperation between China and New Zealand technical and vocational education and expressed expectation for the role of Sino-New Zealand Vocational Education Model Programme Teacher Training Base in promoting the overall development of Chinese technical and vocational education in the future.
