The Sino-NZ Vocational Education Forum held by Central Institute for Vacational and Techinical Education, Waikato Institute of Technology, Tianjin Light Industry Vocatioal Techinical College and QTC took place on November 28th in Qingdao. More than two hundred scholars, government officials and representatives of renowned education organizations participated in the forum.
Breaking the traditional form, the forum designed a new pattern of raising new ideas-group discussion-conclusion. This diversified form fully motivated the participants’ enthusiasm.
30 keynote speakers made inspiring speeches. And the conference provided a platform for both sides to establish more partnership. Rizhao Polytechnic and Wellington Institute of Technology signed a memorandum of cooperation at the conference. Besides, Preisdent Qin Chuan held a deep talk with leaders of Wintec and Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology about teachers training, student exchange as well as curriculum construction.
Sino-NZ forum promotes the further cooperation between Chinese technical colleges and the institutes of New Zealand.
